The Bow Valley Workplace Inclusion Charter is a voluntary no-cost employer toolkit and recognition program to create more inclusive workplaces in the Bow Valley.

We’ve launch our 2023 Bow Valley Workplace Inclusion Charter and we invite you to join us in fostering welcoming, inclusive workplaces for all!

The Charter program supports employers to:

  • Sign a Declaration of Commitment to Workplace Inclusion

  • Choose commitments for your business to implement within 12 months

  • Access free resources, training, & support to implement the commitments

  • Be recognized as a Workplace Inclusion Champion (marketing collateral, certificates, and media coverage)

2022 Workplace Inclusion Champions

The 2022 Workplace Inclusion Charter included a list of 17 actions for employers to complete within a 12-month period

Bow Valley Immigration Partnership (BVIP) provided the necessary resources and support for local businesses to complete those commitments.

Gold Inclusion Champions:

The following businesses completed at least 14 of the 17 Workplace Inclusion Charter Commitments in 2022:

  • Banff Lodging Co

  • Clique Hotels & Resorts

  • Lake Louise Inn

  • The Rimrock Resort Hotel

Silver Inclusion Champions:

The following businesses completed at least 10 of the 17 Workplace Inclusion Charter Commitments in 2022:

  • YWCA Banff

The following businesses completed at least 7 of the 17 Workplace Inclusion Charter Commitments in 2022:

Case Study: The Rimrock Resort Hotel, Banff

The Rimrock Resort Hotel in Banff signed the Workplace Inclusion Charter in 2017-18.

Their diverse team reaped the benefits as a Gold Level Champion workplace.

The 2023 Workplace Inclusion Charter is an initiative of the Bow Valley Immigration Partnership. The program is made possible with support from Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), the Bow Valley Chamber of Commerce, and supporting organizations and community groups.
